I've owned this bike in the late seventies. It was a fun to drive thanks
to the steam hammer Max engine and the lightweight tube steel frame. If
anyone has information about the brand Berneg/Bernardi (Italy) or this bike, please
contact me.

I think the bike was not in the original shape. It
looks like a café-racer modification of the early seventies. Berneg/Bernardi
did not use NSU engines. # 42 must have been a private modification.
